Sport is usually remembered for scores, winners and losers. Yet what remains after the final whistle — team spirit, fair play, taking responsibility, acting together — is what touches young people’s lives the most. The Game Begins When It Ends aims to make these “unseen” gains visible and turn them into a method youth workers can use.
Objectives
- Adapt the contribution of sport to social and emotional learning for youth work
- Produce a replicable activity model and guide for youth workers
- Share good practice with organisations from different countries
- Increase the participation of young people with fewer opportunities in sport and community life
