About us

We see education not as mere transfer of knowledge but as a journey centred on people.

The Education and Youth Research Association (EGADER) was founded in Istanbul in 2021. We work to improve the quality of education and to help identify and address the needs, problems and circumstances of young people.

We care about empowering teachers and accompanying students as they discover themselves. While supporting individuals to realise their potential, we believe raising good people is the foundation of transformation in education.

What we do

  • We create environments for the professional, personal, social and cultural development of students, teachers, teacher candidates and educators.
  • We develop research and practice that raise the quality of educational content.
  • We develop new strategies and perspectives in education.
  • We run international youth projects, above all within Erasmus+.

Our values

  • Human-centred education: we believe every student and teacher is unique.
  • Conscience and ideas: we put ethical values and conscience at the heart of education.
  • Network of cooperation: we build lasting, wide-reaching ties with stakeholders across society.
